Who I Am and What I Do
My strongest memory of a child is lying on sofa, putting my feet on my parents’ knees, asking them to massage and tickle my feet as I sink into relaxation and enjoyment. Many years later I returned to this memory and found my passion for body work and specifically the sensations of the feet.
Born and raised in Israel, my career began in the field of education, leading me to become a teacher for History and Literature in a democratic school. Moving to Berlin I decided on returning to my roots, and found truth and power in body work that stemmed from my old living room memories.
For the last several years I have completed training in Traditional Thai and Aromatherapy Massage, Breuss massage spine techniques and Foot Zone Reflexology massage. Mixing techniques and theories from my different trainings, I developed my own path of work, where I use very slow, present and deep touch, while adjusting to the specific needs of my clients.
We are put under great duress during our daily lives, and often our body and mind are suffering from stress, pains and different ailments. I use my foot reflexology massage to help the body heal itself and reach a state of Homeostasis, where all the organs of the body are in optimal balance and function. Once our body relaxes and tunes in with itself, it directly affects our mental health and well-being as well. It is this balance and well-being I wish to reach with my clients and myself through the sessions I offer.
